Electronics Product Development: from Concept to Volume Production
We design what we build. EMC develops complex electronic devices end to end — hardware, firmware, mechanics, test equipment and molds — and then produces them in volume. One partner and one chain, for products that do not exist yet.

One chain, not separate services
- Design and R&D — hardware from high-level digital to analog and RF, firmware and low-level drivers, embedded Linux on ARM and x86 platforms, mechanics; FTA/FMEDA where reliability matters.
- Prototyping and validation — prototypes, thermal chamber for validation, burn-in and accelerated ageing, preparation for CE marking and, for medical devices, IEC 60601 with a notified body.
- Test equipment — functional test fixtures and end-of-line machines designed in-house for every product.
- Enclosures and molds — plastic housings and injection mold design.
- Integration and volume production — assembly, testing on our own equipment, clean room for medical devices, traceability.
Volume production is not a separate service: it is the last link of the same chain, so design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) are built in from the first schematic.
Examples
Secure USB token — 10-layer, 6 × 1 cm PCB, eMMC HS400, AES encryption, custom case and mold, in-house end-of-line test machine; first batch of 1,500 units produced with zero faults.
Wireless crypto dongle — Bluetooth device with integrated battery, secure boot, AES-256 and elliptic-curve protocol, custom RED-certified antenna, case and mold designed for high-volume production.
Medical devices — disaggregators for cytometry (SurgyBlue™, SyntMate™, Handy Cytoprep™), assembled in our clean room and compliant with IEC 60601.
